Gynaaecare provides comprehensive assistance to couples who are not able to conceive on their own. This ranges from fairly simple techniques such as timing intercourse and inducing ovulation, to more advanced treatments such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and IVF/ICSI using a sperm or egg donor or surrogacy.

We believe that it is important to take care of and manage your gynaecological health and fertility from a young age. Fertility ‘check-ups’ should be a regular part of a person’s wellness routine. This is particularly important if there is a family history of fertility problems or gynaecological issues such as early menopause. Gynaaecare offers fertility check-ups for both men and women including hormone blood tests, semen analysis, ultrasound scans and follow-up advice and consultations.

Gynaecology

Gynaecology is a wide field encompassing the diagnosis, treatment and management of issues relating to the female reproductive system. The Harley Street Fertility Clinic offers the latest state-of-the-art surgical treatment for a full range of gynaecological issues including well woman screening, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy to treatments for fibroids, ovarian cysts and endometriosis.

Counselling

The fertility journey can be very stressful, we believe that reducing this stress will not only contribute to your overall well-being but also help to improve the chances of a successful treatment. We have a team of highly experienced counsellors to offer you the support during your treatment plan. It is a legal requirement for all patients receiving donor gametes to be offered ‘implication’ counselling.

Andrology

With a specialist andrologist & consultant urologist as part of our core medical team, we are able to offer a range of services and treatments for male infertility problems. Treatments range from semen analysis to advanced micro-dissection testicular sperm extraction.

Ultrasound

Ultrasonography or ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging technique used to visualise internal organs. It provides invaluable information for the diagnosis and treatment of fertility issues for both men and women. Ultrasound scans are useful in every step of the fertility treatment process and ultimately, to confirm a successful pregnancy. Here at gynaaecare, we offer the latest ultrasound treatments, including early pregnancy scans and 3D/4D scans of your baby.

We also offer nuchal translucency scans, combined with a blood test, to assess the risk of foetal abnormalities such as Down’s syndrome.
